Tour update

So, we have two more shows booked for the June tour! Yay!! One of them is with Casy and Brian in SF. That is going to be hooot:) We have about two more shows to book and we are done. We are playing this Friday in the OC. It's at some Juice place, it should be rad. Here is the flier.

BBQs and Stuff...

SO. the last three days were pretty busy with shows and whatnot. Went to bbq yesterday put on our buds Michael from Videothing and Matzah from Non+. There is the flier. Cops came so Sean, Har Mar only did two songs. Bummer. Got pretty wasted then wanted to go to Part Time Punks with The Mae Shi and Widow Babies but just hung out with me lady and went to see "Earth", the movie. When I got there I realized I had seen a lot of that footage from the BBC series "Earth". I guess I didn't put two and two together, but I was slightly faded so....I still liked it, nature rules!

We played at Bow and Sparrow the other too with VOICEsVOICEs and The Girl With Violent Arms...Awesome show! Rowdy ass shit! We packed it up, though it didn't take much, it's small as hell! Here is a funny pic of Pepper smiling at the crowd. It's also funny that he is smiling because before the show he called someone a mother fucker for stepping on his pedals and the guy poured a beer on his amp. The same guy also said he loved us and was dancing the whole time. Weird.

On Saturday saw our buds Halloween Swim Team, they are getting gooood! Real good.

Chinatown Weekend/Auto-Tune

So, we have a show Friday night. Should be good. VOICEs VOICEs is playing, they are good and super nice. So is our buddy The Girl With Violent Arms from Nor Cal. Will be a tatter tots time....It's in Chinatown, it's a rad little venue and you can byob which is nice. Saturday night I will be at Bianca's Pinche Way show, also in Chinatown. All of our buddies are playing, yeah!!

Oh, and here is proof that auto-tune can make anyone sound good.

Never been busier...

So, I have been running around like nuts lately, shows galore, both playing and watching. Really nuts. I am so excited to be in a scene again. There is such a great community of music now, so many shows and friends. Everywhere I go I feel like Norm from Cheers "Norm!".... "Clay!". It's feels like the college scene I was in back in the day. That's why I am not posting as much. Sorry, oh and the Lakers are in the Play-Offs so that takes some energy too.

Benefit and Bitches!

SO, we have a show Saturday. It's a show for ERA YES, which is a amendment from 1923 that has still not passed, it deals with equal rights. That's all I really know. Should be rad though! There will be a ton of bands and good times will be had.

Tonight, I am going to The Smell to watch Bitches! from London and Foot Village and Church of the Snake from AR and The Widow Babies, all of whom are bro bros of ours!

Busy and Crystal Antlers tomorrow!

SO, damn man, I have been busy trying to book this tour and I have not posted in a bit...sorry. Well, one year ago we played with the Crystal Antlers in Pasadena and they have been close buds ever since, but TPF! is still treading water and they are doing back-flips off the high-dive. No biggie though, they deserve it! Tomorrow is their CD release party/show. Har Mar is opening, I hung out with him a couple weeks ago, he was talking my ear off about our old Elementary school, it was hilarious! I am going, are you? Hope so. Anyway, I like the new album and have had it for a while now. Good stuff. Here is a new video from them and the flier for tomorrow. BTW, I heard the mixes of our new EP and wow, that are swaaeeet!!
It'll be our turn to do back flips now!!

So, holy shit. Monotonix show last night was insane. I got to crowd surf. I love doing that, it's so fun. They destroyed Spaceland, I never seen that place get so nuts, it felt like an all ages show. Anyway, here's a show tonight that we are playing, should be off the hizzy. I may try to stop by L'Keg and see our friends Non+ too. And, you gotta watch this trailer, man this movie looks so damn good.
